All businesses will need to use trash bins in NYC from March 1

Hello business owners. It is to inform you that New York City’s Department of Sanitation has now come again with the new rules. 

All the business owners in NYC now have to use a trash bin while putting their trash outside for the collection. Previously, this rule was only made for the food and chain stores but now it is for all the businesses.

As of March 1st, ALL businesses will need to use trash bins – just as food-related & chain stores have had to do for months.

This rule does not apply to the businesses whose trash is picked up through the loading dock. All the others should place the bins out before closing.
