If you want to get your trash picked up on a regular basis, don’t worry because the government has got you covered. Just get yourself signed up to the trash collection program which costs you $27.50 per month and clean up your habitat daily. For this, you need to know the complete schedule of trash collection.
The trash is collected each day after 7 am. So, the residents should place the trash cans to be collected anytime after 5pm on the day before collection till 7 am of the day of collection. The limit ends at 7 am in the morning, after which the litter collection starts.

How to get a new trash can in Virginia Beach?
In order to get a new trash container in Virginia Beach, contact the government trash management department through the number (757) 385-4650, mail at [email protected] or contact their office on Holland Road.
Each black trash can can hold up to 95 gallons of litter and the cost to purchase it is 75 USD. However, you don’t have to worry about getting it delivered at your houses, as the government does this for free.
The blue containers, which are used for recycling, can be bought for free with no delivery price.
Virginia Beach Landfill Hours
Landfill & Resource Recovery Center in Virginia Beach is open from 7 am to 4:30 pm. The center is only closed on Sunday and Monday.
Also, note that only the residential vehicles can enter the center and you have to show proof that you are a resident of Virginia Beach.
